Dragon Ball Online Global Open Beta Gameplay

Dragon Ball Online Global Goes Into Open Beta

So we’ve had the pleasure of playing through Dragon Ball Online Global in the past, during its closed beta stages. They recently announced, however, their plans to go into Open Beta, with a plethora of bug fixes, translation fixes, and overall improvements to the game.

So, naturally, we wanted to jump right in and see what the game had to offer – being fans of the Dragon Ball franchise itself.

Both the Human and Namekian’s, in my opinion, have inferior starter zones as neither have been enjoyable for Wiggy and I to progress through.

The Majin however was very, very impressive and although there are still a lot of translation issues we came across – having the game still significantly in Chinese, the game was much more enjoyable through this route.

All in all, we didn’t have a bad experience at all. We’ll actually continue looking through it as the year goes on to keep an eye on progress.

So last week I published a video titled “Are MMORPGs Worth Playing Anymore? The State Of MMOs And MMORPGs In 2018”. In it, I went over the state that MMORPGs were currently in during 2017, and how I thought they were going to progress moving forward into 2018.

If you haven’t seen that video, then you may want to check the comment section for a pinned comment with the video link.

Regardless of whether or not you’ve seen the video, I went over how there were a significant amount of mobile MMORPGs on the horizon, and how the balance of mobile MMORPG to desktop MMORPG was shifting.
That is what I want to talk about in this video: The fact that the state of MMORPGs as a whole are now, more or less, very oriented towards mobile games and mobile gaming.

Every month there is news of new MMORPGs entering creation – and just as often, we’re hit with the fact that they are also targeted at mobile gamers.

Gone is the time when the majority of MMORPGs were designed for desktop gamers. These days, it’s all about them mobile games and the microtransaction business model.
Which I get – is a very lucrative model to pursue. Everyone and their great grandmother is pursuing the mobile genre – mobile games – mobile MMOs.

It’s honestly a little disheartening to see that so many MMORPGs these days are coming out exclusively for mobile devices.

As an example, we have Blade and Soul 2, Project TL, Final Fantasy XI’s upcoming reboot (which actually looks pretty good), Vindictus Eternal, Ragnarok Mobile, World of Dragon Nest, Black Desert Online Mobile,
MapleStory M, Aura Kingdom Mobile, Bless Online Mobile, Mabinogi, Albion.. And these are just a few off the top of my head.

Why are there so many mobile MMORPGs slated for future releases? Let’s see.

Games, especially MMORPGs these days cost an absolute fortune to create and maintain.
This was circumvented by companies by utilizing cash shops and pay to play business models in the past, something that has transitioned into the all to commonly known free to play/pay to win genre we have today.

Now don’t get me wrong – I don’t hate mobile MMORPGs. Not at all. I’ve only played one or two overall, and haven’t even delved too deeply into the entire mobile gaming niche, but I can see potential.

Square Enix, the people behind the incredibly popular Final Fantasy XIV, are recreating Final Fantasy XI – their previous MMORPG title and relaunching it onto mobile devices.
This is a company that has become known for somehow maintaining one of the largest MMORPGs on the market and keeping its pay to play business model.
This is a company that has kept Final Fantasy XI pay to play for 15 years.
Now, I’m not trying to suck Square Enix’s dick here by saying they’re infallible – they’ve made plenty of mistakes over the years. But they’re moving into the mobile MMORPG market, along with other developers of successful MMORPGs over the years as well.
What this means is that mobile MMORPGs may – sometime in the future – I can’t say when as I honestly have no idea – actually provide a quality experience for us to enjoy.

Currently, the mobile MMORPG genre itself just isn’t really doing anything to reinvigorate the MMORPG market – they’re instead polluting it with cheap cash grabs intent on driving players further from them.
This isn’t a good idea in the long run – not at all.

I am well aware that the mobile MMORPG market is new, but the current state of it is just terrible.
Developers are doing nothing new at all, and instead of appealing to an audience – instead of capturing their attention – they’re opting to provide low quality release after low quality release.
And I get that this can change. I get that it likely will change in the future when developers actually open their eyes.
But by then, the market may be beyond repair – people will have already made up their opinions regarding mobile MMORPGs, as I’m sure many already have.
Which, don’t get me wrong, they have every right to. I’m merely pointing out that the MMORPG genre is on a timer here. It’s essentially counting down – and when time runs out, either we will have an MMORPG market or we won’t.

You might think I’m being a downer, that I’m hating on mobile MMORPGs, or that I’m being overdramatic. Mobile MMORPGs aren’t the future and MMORPGs as a genre aren’t dying.
That is a falsity and what I’m saying is a reality.

So, then, you might be wondering – what exactly can we do? Can we do anything to prevent the market from shifting to a mobile model? Or should we instead be trying to shape the mobile market to appeal more to us?

The answer is – honestly – I don’t know.
I’ve been playing MMORPGs since I was a kid. They were my escape from reality when I had an otherwise shitty childhood. They were a world I could just.. slip into. A world I could immerse myself in; a world I could lose myself in.
I used to devote entire years to MMORPGs – something I no longer do. Something nobody really does anymore, with the exception of a small percentage of gamers – with a small percentage of games even worth investing that much time into.

There just doesn’t seem to be much reason to.
This is attributable to the fact that maybe MMORPGs just aren’t really worth the time anymore.
Maybe gamers these days are just no longer capable of investing large quantities of time into games.
It could be any number of reasons why people no longer put the same amount of time and effort into MMORPGs as they once did, but it is nevertheless something that developers can fix.

All we need is a game worth investing our time into. A game worth devoting time to.
Whether that is on a desktop PC or on a mobile device – the fact is that honestly, at this point, I would be happy just knowing we have another high quality MMORPG released worth playing.

People give mobile MMORPGs and mobile games in general a hard time. I feel like at this point in time that is perfectly warranted, but I don’t feel like it’s fair to assume that just because mobile MMORPGs right now suck, they will always suck.
There is time – and there are developers that care.

People no longer look at MMORPGs with anticipation. People have forgotten what it means to truly immerse themselves in an MMORPG world – many gamers never having even fully experienced what it means to play an MMORPG. A proper MMORPG, anyway.

Hopefully it’s possible for all of us to, sometime in the future, experience something new and exciting. Something that garners general interest – something that brings out that part of us that wants to dive head first into the game and forget everything else.
Whether or not that is possible remains to be seen, but we can still hope.

With all the mobile MMORPGs slated for release over the next few years, and all the indie desktop MMORPGs coming out over the next couple years, we’ll have plenty of opportunities to see this come to fruition.
Or, we’ll be doomed to repeat this year: Failed release after failed release.

Anyway guys – that’s pretty much all I have to say with regards to mobile MMORPGs and whether or not I believe that’s the future we’re all making headway towards.
Even if the future is mobile MMORPGs – it may not be as bad as you think. So make sure to keep an open mind and continue supporting the MMORPG industry in whatever way you can – because in the end.. we all love MMORPGs.

Thank you guys for watching – I’ll see you all next time

YES! The Action MMORPG “RaiderZ” Is Re-Launching! (。◕‿◕。)

When RaiderZ was shut down by Perfect World Entertainment in 2015, people were devastated.
Unfortunately – or, fortunately, maybe – at the time, I didn’t have the MMOByte channel and therefore never had the opportunity to experience the game under Perfect World Entertainment’s publishing.
Therefore I’m unable to weigh in as to what the servers were like population-wise towards the end of the games life, however there have been private servers that have risen up in the wake of its untimely demise.
One of which I have played on, and even mentioned in a top 10 video last week: WildRaiderZ.

WildRaiderZ has done a great job at maintaining a dead MMORPG, providing a home for everyone that enjoyed the game to take refuge and find solace knowing that even though a private server – they had their game.

Now, the information I want to share with everyone today, is that RaiderZ is being revived. In a Facebook post taken directly from the official RaiderZ Facebook, you can read:

“[RaiderZ has came back!]
Raiders!
Masangsoft have been looking at the MMORPG ‘RaiderZ’ for a long time that we’ve taken over from MAIET Entertainment, Inc. We’ve been carefully exploring the potential of the game, considering the finances and human resources we have in our company.
And the most important thing is that it was the users’ passion that brought RaiderZ back. We were impressed by the fact that this game provided a great deal of experience for many people.
It’s true that RaiderZ is an old game that isn’t sophisticated enough to satisfy the gaming industry’s trends, technology and users’ point of view. However, the interest and affection of users is invaluable and important motivation for developing the game.
We know that many people are curious about this game. We really want to release the RaiderZ right now, but there are many things we haven’t looked yet, and there are many things that we need to fix.
We can’t say how much more time we need to reinvent this game. What’s certain is that we’ll try to provide better and better experiences for many people who look forward to this game. Sooner or later, you’ll hear another news about the beginning of our development.
Thank you very much.”

What this means is that a new team is working on the core RaiderZ game.
It means that there will be a re-launch of the RaiderZ MMORPG in the future, although the time they plan on taking to get this done is undisclosed – as is the official release date of the re-launch, but, nevertheless, we’re getting RaiderZ back!

What are your guys’ thoughts on this? Are you excited that there will be an officially recognized, an officially launched RaiderZ game? Or are you impartial – not caring for the game at all?
Let me know what you think, as I’m definitely interested!

Greetings and salutations my name is Wiggy, and you may have noticed there’s been quite a lot of Sword
Art Online MMORPG’s coming out resonantly. So I thought I’d make a video compiling them, for those of you,
interested but, can’t decide which one to start off playing, or which might be the most fun or best.

So to start off, not all of them are for the PC, there are some for the mobile device, therefore I’ll be
sure to mention what device they’re for at the beginning, as to not crush your hopes and dreams if it sounds
intersing to you.

Alright let’s start off with Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet. Now to start off this MMORPG, and yes it is an MMORPG,
it’s just not massive multiplayer.. it’s more mediumly multiplayer.. and you will need unlock Multiplayer, like you do in
most of the Sword Art Online games. So, this incarnation of Sword art online is set in the gun gale arc of sword art online.
With Death gun, and the world you exist in being kinda dull, post apocalyptic, mechanical full. Which is NOT a bad thing!

So, to start off it looks amazing, and it’s for the PC, Xbox One, PS4 and it WILL be releasing on steam for you playing pleasure.
Another thing to not, you’re not just playing Kirito along the Gun Gale arc, you actually create a character, you choose your weapon,
it’s stats and you can even make choices along the story. Generally if you like Anime MMORPGs, or sci-fi MMOs, this is definitely something
you should try. If you are interested in it, then REJOICE it’s coming out to the NA/EU market on February 23rd.

Moving on, let’s talk about Hollow Realization!
Let’s start off by saying that this is not really an MMORPG, it’s much more single player than Fatal Bullet, but once again there’s still
an online experience, it’s just more condensed. Only being able to have 4 players progressing through the story. Thus making this more
of a Co-op game rather than an MMORPG. However the majority of people who play MMORPG’s tend to have a small cluster of friends and therefore
I’m sure you guys would enjoy hearing about this game anyway!

So it’s got it’s own story, but somewhat similar to the original series story, which was set in Aincrad. Now just like in Fatal Bullet,
it’s got character creation, so you do not have to play as Kirito or any other character in the Sword Art Online Series, however you can
have them as your companions, which is nice. Here I come Sinon, my bae! Archers/Snipers ftw am I right guys?

Now this is already out, if you’d like to try it out for yourself, and it literally just came out on steam, today for you to play!
But for those of you who don’t want to play this on the PC, you can also play this on the PS4 and the PlayStation Vita.

Last on our list, is Sword Art Online Integral Factor, which is for the mobile device, BUT before you judge it too hard, it actually looks
like a pretty damn good Mobile MMORPG. It’s got giant open plains to explore, with nice fluid combat, especially for the mobile device,
the graphics are beautiful, and there’s no auto-combat! Which plauges most mobile games. Now this game also follows along a “similar” story
to the aincrad arc of the anime, however you still create your character, and there are still play choices. However unlike the other 2 games
listed this isn’t in English as of yet, it’s currently just in Japanese.

Basicly if you want to fully immerse yourself in the Sword Art Online World, you should play Hollow Realization until Fatal Bullet launches
and play Sword Art Online Integral Factor, whenever not at home at a PC or PS4, and it’s like you never leave Sword Art!
It’s a fantastic plan until a full nerve gear VR headset is viable! Just let your inner weeb out and have fun!

Well this is it, thank you guys for watching this video, I hope you enjoyed this, and a quick question to you guys, will you be playing
any of these games? Or are you already playing one of them? If so, how’re you liking it?

Either way guys, good day night or afternoon wherever it is where you are and I’ll see you guys in the next video or live-stream! Till then, don’t forget to join
our Discord! It’s super cool, it has stuff and things! Join for stuff and things!

Greetings and salutations my lovely little Bytelings my name is Wiggy and today I have an update to the Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet video I made a little while ago. So as there’s been new information regarding Fatal Bullet, like when it’s actually coming out!

So for those of you unaware it’s a new upcoming MMORPG for the PC, PS4, Xbox One and on steam. Now prier to this, we had no idea when it was coming to the NA/EU market, till now. However it’s finally been made known when the English version of the game will launch, which is in February the 23rd in 2018. Yeah, not long before we get our hands on this awesome anime MMORPG. I personally can’t wait to test this game out for myself as it is, firstly set in the world of Sword art online, specifically the gun gale arc, But! It that’s not it, it also follows along a story with your created character, making you feel more immersed to the game, rather than just playing as one of the characters from the anime like, Asuna, or Klein.

As I stated the MMORPG follow along the gun gale arc, however it’s not an identical rip, but rather an alternate re-telling of that story. Another thing to point out regarding this game is that, while it is a MMORPG, as you can join together with other players, it is rumored that in order to be able to party you’ll need to complete a specific quest chain. Once completed you’ll be able to party up freely.

Generally guys I just wanted to inform you of it’s release date and refresh your memory of this game. Which I did, so yeah! You’re welcome my lovelies. Thank you guys for watching this video and before you go, will you be trying out this MMORPG once it’s out in February?

Either way, good day night or afternoon wherever it is where you are and I’ll see you guys in the next video!

Greetings and salutations my lovely little Bytelings, so if you guys haven’t been keeping up to date with MMO related news, then rejoice! As I’ve got you covered!
Now the general reason I wanted to make this kind of video was because, there’s been so many MMORPG’s scheduled for release nearing the end of 2017 to early 2018, so many that I thought I’d compile for you guys a list of MMORPG’s coming out very soon, that you should and probably will be excited for, all in one video so you
wont have to check multiple news videos in order to find out upcoming games.

So to start off this, for those of you unaware both the Anime, MMORPG Soul Worker Online and Closers are coming out to the NA/EU market. For Soul Worker Online’s NA/EU Release it’s scheduled to be released by the end of this year, however, It’s more likely to be entering tests by this year, and release for everyone in early 2018. But that’s just a guess it could be fully released by 2017, but I feel it’d be unlikely. Now As for Closers Online, it’s a side scrolling action, anime MMORPG and its
already entered it’s alpha tests here in the west, but as for it’s full release, it’s not exactly confirmed but people generally believe it’ll be going live soon.
So it’ll most likely be fully playable for everyone by the end of this year. So these two games alone has brought immense hype to the end of this year, but that’s
not all that’s coming out. There’s a plethora of Mobile MMORPG’s coming out, like Lineage II Revolution, Fantasy Earth Genesis, Project B and even a mobile Black
Desert Online coming out! There are more mobile MMORPG’s coming out, but to be fair they never stop getting released. Then of course we’ve got Avabel coming to the PC and PS4 as it was originally just for the mobile device. Then there’s also Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet coming out, and even a MMO FPS called Iron sight is on it’s way! There’s just too many games coming out in such a short amount of time!

Besides all of these fantastic MMORPG’s coming out we’ve just reasonably gotten news that Bless Online is finally being released of steam by properly personally by
Neowiz in early 2018 globally, so that’s yet another thing to be excited for guys!

So yeah if you couldn’t already tell, 2017 to early 2018 is looking like a very busy time for us MMO enthusiasts, which is good as there’s been a drought of new MMO’s
for a while.

Well this is generally everything interesting coming out in the next few months, to early next year. No doubt I have missed a few gems, as there’s just so many games
always coming out, but I was generally trying to mention the worth while games on the way.

So a question before I go, what MMORPG are you guys looking forward to in the coming months? I’d love to know!
Thank you guys for watching this, and I hope this hyped you up. But anyway good day night or afternoon wherever it is where you are and I’ll see you guys in the
next video!

Greetings and salutations my lovely little Bytelings my name is Wiggy and today, I’ll be talking about the MMORPG, not so MMORPG called Life is Feudal. So you probably already know why I called it MMORPG not so MMORPG, but if not I’ll explain. Life is Feudal is similar to Lost Ark and the other plethora of survival MMO’s that’s been a trend resonantly. It’s similar in regards that it’s got a cap on how many players can exist on one given server, so thus not so MMORPG part.

I generally would consider this a medium multiplayer RPG, rather then massive. But my definition of MMO varies to most gamers.
So, in general it’s an open world sandbox MMORPG, where you gather items and progress the world buy building up structures and pretty much everything one normally does in these types of MMO’s. There’s PvP, Building, City creation, Crafting, massive Guild v Guild battles and everything in-between.

Now Life is Feudal isn’t the most colorful game, but it is quite pretty in a realistic way, unlike a lot of other MMO’s where it’s more fantasy styled.Although the characters and the movement looks a little, uh stiff at times. Now the main reason I’m talking about this MMORPG now is because it’s entering open beta in November, so that everyone can try it out for themselves.

Now I can’t say whether or not this will be a good MMORPG, I know there are lot’s of people that enjoy the survival theme, but either way, I thought I should inform you guys of this so you can play it once it’s in open Beta.

Thank you guys for watching this video as always, and good day night or afternoon wherever it is where you are and I’ll see you guys in the next video!

Greetings and salutations my lovely little Bytelings my name is Wiggy and today I’ve got some great news regarding the MMORPG Bless Online.

So, as you guys are no doubt painfully aware of, Bless Online was a hyped MMORPG scheduled for release earlier this year to the NA/EU market, and everyone was very hyped about it, as it was what seemed to be another triple AAA title, with fancy graphics, a huge open world, flying but due to scheduling issues and general delays, the original publisher for the NA/EU release dropped Bless Online. This company of course being Aeria Games, so it’s safe to say bless online dodged a bullet.

After all of this drama happened, and what everyone thought was the end of Bless Online, however Neowiz the developers of bless online, decided that instead of just scrapping Bless, they’d fix up
the issues people had with it and self publish to KR, NA and EU. Which is where the project rebuild came in. This was a test side server for Bless Online that was being updated and polished with the intention of having player feedback to help them make an MMORPG worth releasing.

Now it’s been a believe a few months since Rebuilds been out and it’s going great, they’ve polished and tweeked many features
and edit the combat system to make it faster, UI changes, the pet system, and much more. Now, due to how it’s progressing Neowiz has finally decided that they will be releasing Bless Online to steam. It’s scheduled for 2018 on steam for not just the NA/EU market, it’s being released globally so this is insane news, granted no X specific date was given, however the fact that it’s finally on steam means they’re very close to the polished and refined MMORPG they’ve been striving for.

But generally this is it guys it’s finally at that point, we’ll finally be able to play bless online very soon. I personally can’t wait, as I’ve been looking forward to playing this game properly since I heard about it. So guys I hope you’re just as exited as I am to play this MMORPG, and I’ll keep you guys informed if anything changes
regarding bless online. Anyway guys good day night or afternoon wherever it is where you are and i’ll see you guys in
the next video!

Generally I’ll be going over the information that’s been released regarding this anime MMORPG, and showing off actual gameplay!
