Wizard101 is a unique hybrid MMORPG.

It utilizes a blend of all 3 traditional business models. You can pay for a subscription, buy individual parts of the game, or play the introduction indefinitely for free. It also makes use of a fairly unique card-based combat system.

It utilizes a very basic combat system that is highly inhibited by the platform it was developed on, mobile. Even though the game was released as a PC MMO further down the line, the combat system was not altered at all for PC.

Dragon Raja could be a fantastic quality MMORPG. Yet it’s held down by how much of a focus the developers have on pay to win. As one of the few cross-platform MMOs available, it looks good aesthetically, has a very poor mobile-esque control scheme and gameplay style, yet above average story. Again, it had potential. Maybe its successor, Noah’s Heart will improve where Dragon Raja has failed.

It utilizes an instanced, automatic turn-based combat system, with the ability to recruit a multitude of different NPC characters from within the Anime and Manga series.

Noah’s Heart is a free-to-play MMORPG.

It is unconfirmed what type of combat system the game is going to employ, but given it’s the successor to Dragon Raja, I would imagine it would utilize a type of action combat.
