GrandChase is a relatively old MMORPG that’s been around since August 2003 by KOG Studios. However as of July 3, 2018 the sequel to the original GrandChase was released called: GrandChase Dimensional Chaser, or more simply referred to by the majority of people, GrandChase. This was launched onto the Android, iOS, iPhone and iPad, with the emulator engines following soon after like Bluestacks. Thus allowing one to play this and any other iOS / Android games or MMO’s on their PC without the need of a mobile device.

GrandChase, unlike the original MMO, is a single player experience. It is also now an action, strategy hero-collector RPG as opposed to the side-scrolling action MMO GrandChase originally was. Graphically speaking, while it did lose its 3D appeal, the mobile sequel is still quite visually pleasing with the scenery and visuals one sees whilst playing being in my opinion top tier. Doubly so when taking into consideration the normal level of quality one comes across when playing through an iOS / Android game. Then the characters themselves; be it in their more simplistic sprite form during gameplay or their illustrated versions are all quite beautiful and animated well with some nice anime stylization.

Now if GrandChase sounds familiar to you than it could be due to the fact Elsword (an MMORPG also released by KOG Studios) is actually the “spiritual” successor to GrandChase even using some of the very same characters from within the game; with different names and or backstory.

Initially, GrandChase might seem like your A-typical Gacha system hero-collector many mobile games turn out to be but, this does not seem to be the case as with GrandChase. Every hero can be collected through in-game means, something not truly prevalent in most iOS and Android games due to the sheer desire to make money. From daily login bonuses, gaining achievements, completing story missions, participating in the tower rushes, there’s many ways to tackle this game, with or without the Gacha system.

As mentioned above, GrandChase is a hero-collector and with it being as such, there are a lot of differing characters to collect, each one having their own unique abilities, passives and gameplay styles. However each class whilst being unique do fall under a specific “class” category. Warrior, Mage, Ranger, Tank, etc. These classes can be leveled up individually thus affecting every character under that specific class. This does not mean however one cannot level up said favorite characters or heroes. Each character can be upgraded, boosting their stats by sacrificing minions or monsters gathered from playing through the battle levels. Once used they will either succeed in leveling your character or fail causing no effect. After enough level’s have been gained through this system one can in essence evolve their character, boosting their stats further, changing their look and even, depending on the upgrade, unlocking new skills. Prestige and Awakening’s are also available to those who have evolved enough allowing you to go even further beyond. Gear may also be applied to your characters to help increase their defense or attack power independently of their actual stats, gear can be rewarded randomly via participating in battle, keep in mind that however heroes by default have no gear so it can be difficult gearing every character, especially when they all have
class specific gear sets or weapons.

Besides collecting and upgrading ones characters, you will be participating in instanced battles after deciding your destination from the menu screen. Said areas can vary from continuing with the story, revisiting older areas to grind, PvP battles as you vs against similar skilled players, “Trial Tower”, a place to test your party’s abilities in combat with you fighting waves of monsters. If that wasn’t enough then there is also things like, “Daily Defense” missions, “Dimensional Bosses” battles, a Heroes Tower to conquer and lastly the Wizards Labyrinth. However these aren’t inherently unlocked, you must first continue enough through the actual games story content. Progressing through will not only unlock these missions but explain a little more of what GrandChase is all about.

This leads me to the story aspect of GrandChase, which has cut-scenes, in game scenes, and manga like stills to explain all that goes on. Which is a nice change of pace as most iOS / Android games I’ve typically played especially hero-collectors have minimal story to tell, if any at all.

Lastly I’d like to mention the combat itself found within GrandChase, combat typically being an important if not crucial part of any game be it MMO or not. The combat is on the more strategic style of action based combat, with you being able to slow time whilst placing your skills down. This is quite helpful as at times monsters can horde your characters leaving little time to accurately place your abilities.

This is generally GrandChase, it’s a new hero-collector, action RPG. It’s better than most others I’ve played thus far and definitely something I’ll take a look at more in the future. It’s just a shame you have to play it on a small screen. Luckily I typically play / record these games on emulators like Bluestacks making the gameplay and general enjoyment of my game time more thrilling due to it being playable on my PC with configurable keybindings.

Eldevin is a free-to-play 3D MMORPG that is very story-driven. The game itself is created in the vain of older styled MMORPG’s, from the general questing system, items and its heavy RP element.

Eldevin is a free-to-play RP styled MMORPG that has a heavy emphasis on the story element.
As you progress through the world You, the player, are freed from a void dimension and are required to serve the king and his empire.  Within Eldevin there’s a vast world, filled with interesting NPC’s, areas and hidden quests that make the world actually feel alive and something you’re a part of. Unfortunately while the world is full of lore & content, it is held back by it’s graphics, stiff combat & and slow pacing.

Coming off of the popular success of its Morrowind expansion, The Elder Scrolls Online is receiving a brand new expansion titled Summerset!

Summerset Isle is an island off of Cyrodiil (the main continent in ESO), the island is home to both the Altmer and Bosmer races, more formally known as High Elves and Wood Elves. The Summerset Isle is a place many an Elder Scrolls fan has wanted to visit, however fans have been left disappointed after never being given the opportunity to. There has been a single game that has allowed you to reach this “forbidden island” but that was all the way back in the 1990’s.

So it’s exciting to know that we will finally be able to visit this majestic island of Summerset.

This expansion will be made available on May 21st for PC players, with it later becoming available for consoles on June 5th. Now, here’s a summary of various things you can look forward to in the upcoming Summerset expansion:

• The ability to travel to the previously recluse island of the High Elves that is a larger world mass Than ESO’s previous expansion Morrowind.
• A brand new order called the Psijic order. Joining this new order will allow you to travel to their mysterious home of Artaeum.
• There is a new skill line added with this expansion that is related to the order of Psijic. This new skill line gives you power over time magic.
• A new crafting profession was also added, called Jewelry Crafting. You create accessories for either oneself – or other players.
• There will be new PVE content added – such as a new 12-man instance called Cloudrest and the Abyssal Geysers.

If you’ve played The Elder Scrolls Online before or have any knowledge regarding ESO’s previous expansion, you’ll know that the content of the expansion will not be gated behind a level-lock, instead, you can access and partake in everything the expansion has to offer right from level 1. Something I believe other MMOs should take note of.

Unfortunately, that is pretty much all we know currently about Summerset isle and the new upcoming expansion! Stay tuned as we keep you updated with additional information as we get closer to its release.

While we did do a weekly news video just yesterday condensing most, if not all interesting MMORPG news within the week, it just so happens that a little bit more snuck out! Which is of course never a bad thing, so without further ado let’s get started.

The first bit of news I’ve got that’s pretty awesome, especially for those of you who’ve played the MapleStory in the past but also for those of you that have been waiting for MapleStory 2 to finally come out in English. Now while I will point that it isn’t 100% confirmed it is likely and therefore worth mentioning.

So it’s speculated that at the Maplestory Fest on the 14th of April the MapleStory team will be doing a live Q&A session where they’ll have an exclusive announcement. That is of course not the only reason many people believes its coming out but also because Nexon America is now hiring for new testers, all of this happening not long after the game launched in China, which is going strong as mentioned by Nexon themselves.

The last reason being that in Q3 of 2017, Nexon were asked during a Q&A “is MapleStory 2 still on schedule for a “global launch?” and “The Korea version had a really strong start and then it faded after several months, then people just gravitated back to MapleStory. Has that experience trained us for MapleStory2 in China?”. to which The Nexon CEO replied with a very long statement, which at the end he states. “That’s one of the reasons why we’re excited to be launching it around the world.”

Putting everything together, it does seem like there’s a lot of things pointing to Maplestory 2 coming out in English by Nexon this year. It’s just rumors and speculation, but it’s got enough information pointing to it that I thought I’d inform you guys. I’ll shall keep you guys updated and informed with what happens regarding MapleStory 2’s English Release.

I am personally hoping that it is true that they will be announcing it’s English release as I enjoyed the Korean version and I would love to see in full English.

Neowiz, the company behind Bless Online has announced an official release date for the early access release on Steam.  According to sources, information has been “leaked” for the popular MMORPG.

Bless Online is an open-world hybrid action combat MMORPG with a heavy emphasis on storytelling, monster capturing and faction vs faction PvP with open world PvP & massive PvP battlegrounds.

It has also been rumored that Bless Online will release with a buy to play model onto steam, with early access being more of a soft launch than an actual early access as all data will remain and the duration of the early access will last 6 months.

If you’ve been following general complaints regarding the game then you’ll know combat has been a major issue for players, with people having, on quite a few occasions, criticized it for being slow, not a true action combat MMO, or just straight up boring. They’ve since tweaked the combat with multiple updates on the Korean and Japanese Rebuild servers, adding a completely new skill system; which is much easier to use and allows for some strategic combat. If you’d like a more detailed idea on what I mean, I have a dedicated video to both the skill and monster system that’s currently in place for the Korean Rebuild version which the English Steam early access release is based on, with a few tweaks here and there.

With that being said, we should all know by now that Bless Online has had its ups and downs but Neowiz seems to be taking player feedback and what they’re into consideration and are actively trying to remedy any and all problems with the game. Even going so far as to change its business model from F2P to B2P, something that was generally what players wanted, and stated as a major concern for Bless Online potentially becoming P2W.

The “leaked” release date is within May as shown in the trailer, we’ll see in the coming days or weeks if this is 100% factual.  So, while you should be getting excited – remain skeptical until an official announcement has been made on steam, or on the official Bless website that will be launching tomorrow on the 21st.

Today, I’ve actually got a bit of news for you! To start off I’ve got some fantastic TERA news then a newly released brawler type wizard game, an upcoming MMORPG releasing later in march & finally a survival sandbox multiplayer game like Ark is coming to early access on steam!

Let’s kick off this news video by talking about Tera Online.

So the good news is that the male brawler is finally out and playable, and you were even gifted a new character slot if you participated in the event that’s currently going on – of course this is only necessary if you’ve created too many characters to fill your waifu collection and your slots were full, which no one would blame you for.

The Male Brawler is in essence a carbon copy of the female Brawler. However, there are some animation changes,  as the original model for the brawler was a female t’would be strange if he was using female animations, no? The answer is yes, it would. Unfortunately there are some animations that we not touched and are, therefore, still the same. It’s not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, still seeing the male brawler wiggling his but around with a female animation is kinda hilarious!

With the brawler being added into TERA, they also gave us some new hairstyles, some dungeon re-balancing and a level-up box also found from the event that’s going on, that’ll end by around March 20th, so you’ve got time!

Then there’s the new MMORPG that’s planned to come out globally by the 27th of March. The MMORPG in question is called Blade Reborn and it’s for the mobile devices.

BLADE REBORN is an action MMO, that is generally instanced based as you go from instance to instance killing hordes of monsters for simplistic and at times questionable reasons.

Besides the mindless slaughter you can partake in, BLADE REBORN allows you to PvP and choose between 3 classes, which to be completely honest is a really, REALLY small amount of classes but it does make up for its lacking classes with a skill talent system that lets you completely shape how you progress your character. No 2 players even using the same class should be the same.. or at least until someone comes up with the perfect class build that everyone will follow to becoming over-powered.. cough. Anyway it’s launched currently in Australia, Europe, Russia & Brazil and as mention if all goes well the global version will be out by the 27th.

Lastly on our list is none other that the survival sandbox multiplayer game that looks fantastic.. unless you’re not into dinosaurs and pixels, in which case.. what’s wrong with you! moving on..

PixARK  which is what it’s called is in essence a love child between Minecraft and Ark – and they are not ashamed! It takes the capturing of large dinosaurs, farming survival and world of Ark, while blending Minecraft’s cute cube visuals and building aspects. It’s a match made in heaven and it looks fantastic to me, but then again I’m a sucker for pixel graphics. To give a quick idea of what can be found within this game; it’s got a procedurally generated world, eight biomes to explore, a character progression system, town, and world creation, hundreds of creatures / Dinosaurs to capture, take, or… if you’re a soulless monster, murder.

Today I have some more amazing news on the TERA console release.

With TERA’s console open beta launching tomorrow on both the Xbox one and PS4, En Masse have rolled-out a brand new video showing off the console version of TERA in action.

Now the information for the TERA Console release is as follows; Prepare yourselves, guys because it’s pretty awesome! Just like it’s PC counterpart, TERA’s Console version features True action combat, unique control schemes for each class – which you can fully customize to your own preference so you can do amazing combos, an all new lock-on system to keep track of your foes and a reworked UI and inventory which will automatically group items to specific sections like weapons, armor and so on.

On top of that, they’ve added a fully-customizable Radial Menu where you can assign items, skills and emotes, as well as social features like a quick chat menu and they even have a voice chat system so you can talk with other players while you fight in raids, dungeons or just go on an adventure.

Don’t worry though,  as you can turn it off if you’d rather stay silent to those creepy strangers that you randomly hear breathing deeply – it’s kinda weird. You can even take a screenshot and broadcast your gameplay so that you can livestream on Twitch, Youtube and etc.

Well guys that’s about it for the TERA Console release and the features found within the console version of the game which are #amazing.

I played Black Desert Online Mobile a few days ago, and I was asked to make a guide on how to download and play it. Now it’s not that hard to install and play, however I’ll be going over it nevertheless. Before I do continue, I will point out that this method will only work for an unknown amount of time, after which all of the emulators will work / function with Black Desert Online Mobile thus making this guide redundant.

With that out the way let’s get to it!
Don’t forget to look at the images below for a visual representation on what to do, if what I say is confusing.

First you’ll need to download the Momo Emulator from the website Uptodown which you can find the link to it here  After downloading “Momo” run the exe, click the orange button and continue the installation until it’s installed,

Now that “Momo” is installed, run the emulator. It will be in Korean which is perfectly fine as we can change the language settings to English. To do so simply click the option at the top right that looks like three lines on top of each other. then click the second option, which will open a small pop up window, click on the second option here as well. After that the last option will be the language option, select English and restart the emulator by clicking the orange button when it pops up.

The Momo Emulator should now be in English, if that’s the case now all that’s left is to download Black Desert Online Mobile which you can do so by following this link, from the website Uptodown. Once Black Desert Online Mobile is downloaded go back to the Momo emulator and from the right side bar, click APK. Then locate your downloaded Black Desert Online Mobile APK file, open and let it launch. Once it opens Black Desert Online Mobile should begin to download / update.

Once it’s done updating, you should see the login screen, if not, try clicking on the Black Desert Online Mobile exe from Momo again after the update, and see if it launches. If it does and you see the login screen, Black Desert Online Mobile is officially installed.

Do note when you go to make your character it will most likely have a “white hair” bug. There’s no fix currently as of making this guide, however for some not all, changing the DPI to 640 has fixed the issue. It did not work for me but, it might work for you. To change the DPI click the settings found at the top right of the Momo emulator, which looks like three lines on top of each other, from there click the second option, then from the pop up menu, click the second option again where you found the language section. From here you can adjust your resolution and your DPI. Once done, click save.

This is all that is needed to play Black Desert Online Mobile! It’s just that simple. If you have any issues do let me know, either way enjoy playing!

Greetings and salutations my lovely little Bytelings today I’ve got some fantastic news regarding Soul Worker Online’s NA release! Now, as I’m well aware a lot of people have been looking forward to the release of Soul Worker and for good reason, it’s a gorgeous Anime MMORPG with detailed cell shaded graphics and some fantastic action combat. After a delay, It was planned to be entering is beta tests at early 2018 but it was delayed again which disappointed a lot of people who had been waiting patiently for it. However, don’t let this get you down as I said, I have good news! Said good news is that Soul Worker’s Beta is coming out at the beginning of March. Also, we will be personally playing the Beta launch of Soul Worker Online and we will have beta keys to give away to you guys so that you will also be able to play it as well! Said keys will of course give you access to the game and some special beta items! If you want to get the key, we’re making a giveaway for it.
