Atlantica Online has one of the most unique combat systems in an MMORPG: Complete turn based. Yes, turn based combat! Just like old JRPGs and Pokemon! Which is very, very strange, honestly. You wouldn’t think it could be entertaining but in all honesty the combat in Atlantica Online is pretty fun! So much so that I could literally spend hours during the day just dueling LOL.

All in all, Atlantica Online is a free to play MMORPG I believe everyone at one point should at least try out, if only for the awesome unique turn based action combat it has to offer everyone!

I was under the impression that Atlantica Online was shutting down. Regardless, this is a very different kind of MMORPG. It’s turn based like old JRPGs used to be, and actually turned out to be a lot of fun!

Okay, so maybe Wiggy and I spent a little too long dueling but I swear it was a lot of fun haha. Reminded me of a Pokemon game that had a really short timer on turns.

Outside of the fun turn based combat it wasn’t really anything special – a fairly generic MMORPG.
