Im glad to see an actual wildstar fan put a list together but nothing has been able to fill the giant WILDSTAR hole in my heart. I actually bought Wildstar at launch and played it over the years. I got into it heavily towards the end and was actually so mad at myself for not playing it more. Honestly to me nothing comes close. Wildstar was one of the few games of that style where you wernt stuck attacking one enemy at a time repetitively with no fun evolved. You could take out multiple enemies. Enemies wernt just just boring zombies that did nothing they actually chased and attacked you. AND NOT TO MENTION the AMAZING housing system. No other game have I ever gotten what I got out of wildstar. ALso it had some of the very best armor systems ive ever seen. Being able to take any equipment and save the look but apply the stats of a higher equipment. Ive found games similar but there always missing the best part and the reason wildstar was so amazing It did have a pretty regular community towards the end but they wernt realesing any kind of new content it was the same content recycled every 3 months with a rotation of the same rewards so long time players had everything so there wasn’t really anything to buy anymore, plus they did an epic fail with advertising I don’t think I saw advertising except for at launce and when they switched to f2p.. Gamers are an unforgiving lot, that is so true and unfortunately our being so is really causing some downfalls in new games. I see reviews made pre launch or early release that are destroying games for understandable issues because people wont even try the game themselves or come back once they’ve experienced too many issues. Games are becoming so advanced that of course there are gonna be some issues early on ESPECIALLY IN A MASS MULTIPLAYER. Are we becoming to entitled? YES. and I really think if we don’t watch out were gonna start seeing a lot of the companies we say we love closing their doors. SO… Ive played the Basic wow and honestly I didn’t think it even came close to wildstar. Im sick of games coming out with a new expansion every year and wanting another 60 bucks and a subscription. Ill pay for cosmetics, mounts and other fun stuff but to feel like im not getting actual content because im not shelling out a ton to me make me not want to play. Ill do a pay once and own but I just feel like a lot of these games are finding ways to charge for every little thing. Ive been looking for an alternative since wildstar closed and I haven’t found anything even close. My biggest issue is combat. I want a combat on par or greater then wildstar. no attacking mindless heards of the same enemy for 30 minutes. and I want character customization as well as armor too. WIldstar had dyes and you could mix and match any clothing you had ever worn that’s what made it so fun. Give me the combat, the customization of armor and a house I can decorate, good multi player dungeons and Im there. DOES IT EXSIST?
